Generally, an Indian Farmer lives in huts and small houses. some farmer's houses are made of clay and cow-dung. some Farmers live in houses made of bricks.
Education: Uneducated and illiterate -
An Indian Farmer is uneducated and illiterate. They are simple in living style and dress.
Daily Life: (Hard working and honest, generally under debt) -
He spends a simple life. he is a hard-working man. He is honest. he is generally under debt. he earns his bread hardly.
Sources of recreation: Rural folk songs and drama -
Sources of recreation of an Indian farmer are very simple. he sings folk songs and dramas. he goes to chaupal in the evening every day.
Efforts of Improvement :(use of modern implements and machines, the supply of improved seeds and chemical fertilizers) -
When India became free the condition of an Indian farmer was very pitiable but now the government made many efforts to improve the condition of the farmers. Now an Indian farmer uses modern implements and machines. he uses improved seeds and chemical fertilizers.
Conclusion:(the backbone of our country) -
An Indian farmer is the backbone of our country lately. Shree Lal Bahadur Shastri gave the slogan of 'Jai Jawan Jai Kishan' This slogan will always be an incentive to the farmers of the country.
